Hi,
I have a query, i am doing wedding films, i want to keep original audio as well as the dubbed audio in same DVD with same editing and markers. How can i export it to DVD?
I know in VHS films we can do, and same i tried in it, audio 1 using the left spk and audio 2 using right spk.
when i select right spk i can listen dubbed audio and if i select left psk i can listen original track. and by choosing L+R i can hear both audios.

MY CONCERN IS

want stereo audio bor both tracks (original and dubbed) and
how can i choose it from DVD menu(either to play originol or dubbed audio)

Many Thanks
Rizvijee

  Safe margins on DVD

Author: Nicolaj
Date: Aug 2, 2008 08:54

I'm using 16:9 framesize on my projects, but I think I often "loose" to much of the picture because footage is outside the "safe margin area". Though, when exporting to DVD it depends on the videorecorder and TV how much of the video that is displayed.

Are there any settings that make the whole picture being displayed during playback at all times?

Thanx
Nicolaj

Well I too will have to make an effort and eventually move to Encore for authoring but I don't know about PP2 from the "Heyday", I'm still in the "heyday". I'm a "kiss" member and would like one programme to do it all (and for ever)!
Having said this I do appreciate the development of Premiere and would not like to go back to versions b4 pp1.5!

I've never done it myself. Like you I use Encore. I just remember this coming up a lot during version 2.0's heyday.

Eddie,

Thanks for that clarification. I was going by the "official" statement of incompatibility, never having tried it myself. I always just use Encore and have had no problems. Maybe I need to be more adventurous and try eveything that Adobe says you can't do, just so I'll know. OTOH, maybe not.

Appreciated,

Hunt

It's not officially supported, but it is possible. <http://premierepro.wikia.com/wiki/FAQ:How_do_I_burn_a_dual-layer_DVD%%3F> ;)

Just had to check some stuff on these last posts and read (and noticed!) from Bill H that PP2 does not burn to DVD DL
"One note, about burning to DVD, PP2 does not allow burning to DVD-9 (DL)."
Actually I did use PP2 to burn my last project on a DL DVD as I explained earlier, and obviously forgot to take notice of this warning. Perhaps someone up there thought I had enough and made an exectption just for me!

Shrinking is detrimental to your end quality, and increases your rendering times. No benefits, only losses.
