I've no idea about dual-platform computers, and such issues belong with Apple or Microsoft or the developer of the boot manager, not Adobe.

I'm trying to get my page numbers (placed on the master pages) to show up on top of an image on an interior page. I've tried sending the image to back, but that does not work. Is this possible to do?

Hello,

I am trying to open a PM4 file from PageMaker 6.5 and continue to get a "cannot open file" message. I am opening the file from Pagemaker (File -then Open). We have tried opening it on different computers - and different versions of PageMaker.

Does anyone know what could be the problem? Is there something I am over-looking?

The file may just be corrupt, but I want to make sure I have tried everything.

I looked everywhere for some line that said "view PDF", only I never looked in Distiller. When I looked there, sure enough the box wasn't checked. So I checked the box and thought the problem was solved. But it still won't open the PDF.

I have an even bigger problem now, which has nothing to do with PDF's
I've been using the Parallels program on my iMac. It lets me work with Windows. Something went wrong and after each time I booted up...

I've had this strangeness occur a few times. There's two text boxes, everything you can find out about the properties of each box is the same i.e. same font, same font size, same track, same horizontal scale, same leading, everything seems to be the same yet .... the box height is different. When you highlight the two boxes one is a smaller height than the other.

What's going on here folks? Anyone know?
