Can Window version 7 open a Mac version 6.5 file?

Author: Gary_Graham

I just tried and it wouldn't open it directly. Is there a trick or something I am missing? I really need to open this file in Windows version 7.0. Thank you.

  Font Identification

I need help in identifying an older font, out of the late 1930's for a project.

Take a look at: <http://www.mybloo.com/coosbay/eBay/title.jpg>

See if you recognise it, and can then either cite me a name or a truetype font.

  Why not keep all threads?

I have just noticed that the oldest thread in the Archives of this forum is not yet a year old. Considering that PageMaker is a dead program, wouldn't it be wiser to keep all existing threads for as long as this forum exists? I don't think 200 threads would take too much disk space...

I agree - go for InDesign.

However, there are links to on-line PM tutorials here:

I totally agree 1000%%! If you HAVE to choose with only the two, then Pagemaker before Publisher. If you are going to be working with files that you will be sending to printing and design companies, many will just laugh at you if you said its a publisher file, not even Kinkos will take a Publisher file last i checked. Just be ready to self teach yourself how to may proper PDF files! Thats something you would need to do anyway but not even Publisher makes that an easy task!

As Aandi says.

I've no idea about dual-platform computers, and such issues belong with Apple or Microsoft or the developer of the boot manager, not Adobe.

Page numbers to appear over image

Author: susan_c._wood

ver 7.0.2

I'm trying to get my page numbers (placed on the master pages) to show up on top of an image on an interior page. I've tried sending the image to back, but that does not work. Is this possible to do?

Thanks!
Susan
