I'm getting weird behavior with GoLiveCS2 in Windows Vista Home Premium, 4gb memory. I run with compatibility mode for XP checked. Basically, every once in awhile double-clicking a page in the Files tab causes GoLive CS2 to lockup or outright crash.

I can resolve the problem (until the next episode) by ending CS2 through the Task Manager (if it's the lockup), restarting it, opening the site file, then opening the offending page with the File/Open menu, making any kind of small change, and Ctrl-Sing to save. Then I can open the page the regular double-clicking way ... until it happens again with some other page, or even the same page a few days later.

I didn't have the problem on my old 1gb XP machine, but I did have it while running CS2 in a virtual XP machine on my new Vista machine.

For obvious reasons, I want to run CS2 on my Vista machine, so I'm committed to find out what's going on with this behavior.

Any ideas?

By the way, I've downloaded, installed and ran Dreamweaver tryout. Did not like it one bit. Back in 1998, 1999 somewhere in there, I tried both Dreamweaver and GoLive 4 (before it was Adobe) and fell in love with GoLive. I still believe I made the right decision.

I am working in GL9 and it has just started doing something weird. When I open the CSS editor, after I have finished with it, the CSS window won't close. It just sticks within the window of the page I'm working on and so obliterates the page - or part of it. I cannot move it or close it so the only way to get rid of it is to close the file I'm working on and re-open.

It is just happening on one particular site.

The problem occurred on my desktop PC; so as I have a brand new lap top with a new installation of GL9 I tried it on that but I get the same problem.

Help would be appreciated as I can't work on that site until I can fix it!

I would like to color the border of just one table on just one page. I do not want that border color cascading through the site to all tables, nor to even affect all tables on that one page.

I knew how to do it months ago (thanks to you kind folks)

I want to set up some text in 3 CSS columns so that it flows across the columns. I blieve this can be done, as I saw a description of it on a W3C forum but I didn't understand it! I need a 'columns for Dummies' version?!

Hello - I'm on new ground here so - I think I've done this correctly -

I created a drop down with several selections -

Appetizers - brings up bbqmnu1.html
Salads - brings up bbqmnu2.html
Dinners - brings up bbqmnu3.html

Problem is that when the user selects Salads or Dinners the drop down bounces back to just show Appetizers.. Is there a way to make the drop down 'stick' on the choice that is made?

I am having a problem installing Go live 6 on a clean XP install

it keeps giving me an invalid serial number issue

I have checked with Adobe and the serial number is a valid number
but they no longer will support golive 6

I have golive 9 but I am not allowed to upgrade to the new version
untill I have all of the other sites upgraded also (I support over 150 other sites that are currently running golive 6)

does anyone have any ideas on hot to get my copy of Golive 6 installed?

I am 100%% new to Golive and have been asked to upload a video (linked on youtube) to a webpage for my company's website. I used the SWF feature and typed in the URL. I couldn't get it to display and I don't know what step I am missing and have only the native help files to go by. It is probably very simple but I am really lost. Please help.
