You have to laugh.

Got an email fro Amazon this morning recommending 'In Rainbows' by
Radiohead.

The reason for this recommendation is that I have in the past bought an
Amy Winehouse CD, an Arctic Monkeys CD and a Beatles CD. Essentially then,
we simply thought it's about time you bought another CD cos you've bought
some in the past. We don't really care which one but we have a couple of
Radiohead ones kicking around so.....

I'd have been more impressed (alarmed but impressed) if the reason had
been that they could see all of Radiohead's other CDs in the rack on the
wall over there.

Interestingly, two of those R/Head CDs *came* from Amazon. Why not give
*that* as a reason for recommending the new one?

Here's what I posted to Funnytown on the 8th May last year.

See, I never 'rate' anything, not even the performance of the seller.
Can't be arsed.
