Today on WRT....

Ken Bruce played Freebird, the Vine bloke played Shot by both Sides,
Starman and Alright Now, and Steve Wright played something equally awesome
but for the moment my memory banks have let me down so I can't tell you
what it was but it just before Paint it Black.

I'll let you know what it was in about half an hour when the Beeb updates
the 'Music Played' thing. Worth the wait, i assure you.

Any rode up, my point is, that even though I dislike WRT out of habit and
Vine on principle, I rather enjoyed being a captive audience today.

WRT?

Wogan and Bruce play some very good stuff. I'll listen to Vine for the first
quarter of an hour or so, but I turn it off as soon as the show goes
talky-talky.

I *never* listen to the ginga tosser who is on at 5pm. What a travesty that
they replaced Jonny Walker with him.

I never listen except when, like today, I'm in somebody else's domain.
Vine actually plays mostly good stuff but I can't stand him. can't stand
Wright either.

Nobody could replace the great JW.

Now playing on Virgin Classic Rock: Need your love so bad by Fleetwood
