One year checkup update...

Good news...there was no signs of cancer. Dr. Bae-Jump was even impressed
with my continued weight lose. I told her I refused to feed my mouth just to
have it squirt out of the other end. She says I have a good sense of humor.

Bad news...she said since I was going to have a bowel bi-section I might as
well have the uterus removed at the same time. I am now facing two major
operations in one day. I wonder what my survival rate will be..not curious
to ask yet..

Now I go back to see the gastrointestinal Dr. Karuda on the 11th of March
and then the final segmoidoscopy on the 18th.. sometime in between I need to
see the cardiologist and have an ultrasound done on my legs so they can see
if there is any blood clots there. Wonder what they will do if they cannot
take me off the blood thinners?

I still wish I could hear the music you are listening to.

Very good, I should think. You may feel that these operations are major
ones and to you they are, because they are happening to you. However, to
the surgeons involved they are quite routine. Try not to worry. They'll all
be over fairly soon and then you can start to concentrate on recovery. In he
meantime I going to carry on thinking good thoughts about you! :-)

Prolly for the same reason as most of us who end up consuming small
doses of Ratty poison for years upon end - a dicky ticker !
