Skyline is currently playing a cover version of U2's "One", with a woman on
vocals. I have done some research and it seems that it is by Mary J Blige,
with Bono singing backing vocals and U2 as the backing band. It's very good
indeed - better than U2's original in fact.

Still not as good as the best ever version of this song, by Johnny Cash.

And now they're playing "Banana Splits" by, IIRC, the Dickies.

It *was* the Dickies and was RGary's first song.

Gary played a luvverly piece of music from Chickory Tip: Son Of My

BTW, Mick: it installed without problems, but somehow it needs getting
used to - Kaffeine, f.i. won't play DVDs due to lack of CODECs..

Just left RGary to listen to this track on last.fm. What a great track.
Must buy me this album. Loved his work with Rubin. Dunno how I missed this
one.

Might have to listen through again.

One of the problems with Opensuse as far as I can tell. The codecs that
you need aren't in the normal repositeries. I read on the forums that not
all the repos are online for 11 yet so your problems may get solved
eventually.

I also read that Gstreamer is crippled ATM so there would be no Skyline
for me.

I intended to download a 'live CD' version of 11 last evening but got
sidetracked by real life. Might have a look at a download while this
Garyshow is playing.

Skyline was received without any problems here via RealPlayer under
openSUSE 11..

Thank you for reminding me - I shall have a look for the usual
repositories tomorrow.
