Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow added a lot of classical themes to their music.
Cozy Powell's concert drum solo bcame the 1812 Overture... Rainbow's final
album had a rock version of Grieg's "In The Hall Of The Mountain King".
Blackmore's current band mixes a lot of medieval themes into the music.
