I spoke earlier about my nostalgia trip, and the desire to gather around me
things that I used to own as a kid............well, I've now got something
else......
a 3Dimention Model E Viewer made in 1957! Wow, did I get lost in many
another world when I inserted the Viewmaster series discs, of which there
must be thousands. I've just acquired off e-bay my first collection of
twelve assorted reels from 1948-50. And currently on ebay is a three disc
set of Robin Hood that I had back in the '60's. I'll have a house full of
these things by the end of the month:-)

Yes. But for me the fascination is collecting the ones that were around
decades ago, in so much that on each 3D photo is captured the essence of the
era. I doubt whether recent reels of anything would captivate me in any way.

OK. I thought you were being a bit odd here, but I can begin to see where
you're coming from. I revel in old photographs of, particularly, this
area. and it's fair to say that I would enjoy the chance to use the old
cameras that were used in the making of the images. Go for it.
