...laying here and enjoying the music, but I need something to do wiv me
hands soooooo......
I play wiv the TV remote. And tonight, I got a surprise.
At none o'clock on one of those BBC channels is a rerun of last Saturdays
Doctor Who. Now last Sat's show was called Midnight and IMHO, it was a cut
above the norm, simply because it was a bit out of the ordinary. Obviously
this quite goodness led me to the wrong conclusion because watching the
credits a few minutes ago, i found that it was actually written by RTD.
Leaving his best stuff till last, obviously. ;-)

I must admit that surprised me as well.

Don't count on it... RTD has a habit of writing utterly abysmal series
finales.

If Rose Tyler is in the finale, I won't care who wrote it
Tell you what though bud, I'm very pleasantly surprised at how bloody
brilliant Dona Noble is as a DW companion. Would never have thought it
possible after Runaway Bride.

By the way - how many Seasons of DW have been made since these last

I wouldn't say she's brilliant, but she's an awful lot better than I
expected her to be.

My total loathing of the CT Show led me to loathe very idea of her being
in the show at all, but I do think that she is quite superb.

I must admit that I had the same fear. I will say that she's rather a good
companion, but she's no Rose, Tegan, Nyssa or Peri...

But then she is not "Ace", or the hamster, or is she? IIRC I told you
that I saw lots of potential in her role, and in herself even in the
"Runaway Bride" episode. But then I was unbiased which may have helped
in my case. When there's not an overwhelmingly beautiful face or body in
the way I tend to watch the facial expressions, and hers were just
amazing. Especially when sat on top of the roof of whatever building
that was talking to the Doctor. As I said - she certainly caught my
attention then, and there.

You got it. That's why I use the word 'brilliant'. She has the full range
of expressions. And unlikely though it would seem to me, after watching
her own 'comedy' show, she is rather funny at times.
