I haven't finished it, no. There's a very good reason for that. I don't
*want* to finish it too quickly because I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I
usually have two books on the go at the same time - a fiction one and a
non-fiction one, so I'm currently alternating "Matthew" with "Corsair Aces
of World War 2".

I really enjoyed the incident with the hedge, having been through a similar
incident myself a number of years ago. At least Matthew had the excuse that
he was emotionally distraught and somewhat dehydrated. I was just deeply in
my cups!

I know from the review that The Fair Wendy put on Lulu that there is a twist
in the tail. I'm trying to work out what that twist could be. My Inner Cynic
has an idea... it remains to be seen whether my Inner Cynic is a bit too
cynical. And I still don't have a cloo about how it can all result in
Matthew's situation at the beginning of the story - if indeed I have
understood that situation correctly in the first place.

Nah... just use a middle initial for the other genre. It works for Iain
(M) Banks.
