Fresh Cream

Just reading Eric Clapton's autobiography at the moment. It is a nice easy
read, but interesting in the fact that it shows a man who, despite worldwide
success, was never a truly happy chappy in his early career in the 60's.
Some people are never satisfied!

As I continue reading through this book, I notice that Eric, during the post
heroin addiction spell up to 1974, took to alcohol, whereby a lot of his
time was taken up being permanently pissed. What I find odd though, is that
I can never imbibe loads of alcohol without the body saying enough is
enough, and heaving up. Is it possible to be regularly pissed without
throwing up at least a few times?

Couldn't help noticing that Steve Gadd has been a regular in Eric's band
during the latter part of his career. This info is only relevant to long
standing users of this group:-)
