..That left aside (haven't got a clue!) - what was that announcement of
Gary's about: "Peter Noon's version of the the song by David Bowie"?!

..Really? Were Herman's Hermits still around when DB rose his head I

"Oh! You Pretty Things" was on Bowie's album "Hunky Dory" from 1971.
According to Wikipedia, Herman's Hermits reformed in 1970 and lasted for a
year or so.
