Comfortably Numb

The neighbours on one side have gone on ollidy and those on the other side
are away for the weekend. I'm taking the opportunity to have a *very* loud
music frenzy.

I'm currently working my way through a series of David Gilmour guitar solos.
Playing at the moment is "Comfortably Numb".

Gosh, he knows his way around a fretboard, doesn't he?

I've decided on a guitar wekend.

Now playing: "Five Miles Out" - Mike Oldfield.

Next up: "Like A Hurricane" - Neil Young.

Sadly, I don't have either of those.

I have Tommy Bolin's "Marching Powder". Will that do...?

But they are two RNeil's finest. Ask anyone.

From 200 miles away, I couldn't tell the difference, so bring it on.

I like doing that with some Bach on a big organ.

Problem is, it can vibrate my model cars off the shelf.

I can hear it from 3,000 miles away!

Actually hearing it isn't a problem, but the traffic noise of the M25 and
the planes in and out of Heathrow kind of defuse the sound so that it's
hard to tell whether I'm listening to Tommy Bolin, Neil Young or the Spice
Girls.

I think I'll pretend that I can hear The Ramones.

Gabba gabba hey!
