Haven't seen "Underworld".
You may like to try "Blood Ties". It is a Canadian detective show, shown on
LivingTV on a Thursday night at 8pm. The protagonist is Vicki Nelson, a
detective who had to retire from the Toronto police department due to her
failing eyesight. She opens a private detective agency and ends up teaming
up with Henry Fitzroy.
Henry isn't quite what he seems. He is Henry Fitzroy, First Duke of
Richmond and Somerset, the only acknowledged bastard son of Henry VIII. He's
also a vampire...
