I like Bar Harbor, and the way you can buy a lobster right off the boat
and have it cooked while you wait. Mt. Desert Island nearby is also very
scenic - it's the first point in the USA hit by the rising sun.
We had booked on the ferry from Yarmouth, Nova Scotia to Bar Harbor - on
Sept. 14 2001. We decided to change our plans and stay in Canada.
