I'm wanting to use my desktop's much cheaper (and available!) storage so
that my laptop doesn't have to store many messages in the client's own
cache. It would also allow me to better keep track of how much bandwidth I
use so I can place limits?

The INN program looks great, but maybe it's overkill? I don't need a full
nntpd, just something that lets me automatically mirror specific groups. The
idea is to create a text file with each line containing a group such as
"teranews.support" and then the news cache keeps a local copy in case the
messages fall off the server. It would be ideal if this works
transparently, but that's not a requirement.

I've been running Outlook 2000 since Feb 2007. Now, all of a sudden
I'm getting a startup error referencing ntdll.dll. The version being
used in the System32 folder is Ver 6 dated Jan 2008. (I don't know when
this version was updated from the original). I have uninstalled and
re-installed Office 2000.

Outlook 2000 works only for the first opening of the program. There
after it has the error.

1. How can I get the original ntdll.dll file off the Vista
installation disk.

2. Any clue why Outlook would open OK on the first opening then turn
into a pumpkin thereafter?

3. Any suggestions for a fix?
