Windows vista home premium
Firefox 2.
I need to clear out the stored images firefox insists on keeping and
not updating with the new image sizes.
Where exactly does FF store this these days?
FF has no option to clear the cache files.
I tried deleting the history and that failed.
Closing out the window and reopening failed.
Clues please.

Resolution is 1024 x 768
Cannot read the third and maybe a fourth column. Someone suggested making subfolders. Is that possible?
Goodwill,
Luke

Hello --
Using XP; laptop drive is partitioned to c: and e:
The last time I uses PM the only way I could increase the size of a
partition was to
1 - reduce the size of another partition, creating unallocated space,
and
2 - increasing the size of the target partition.
I successfully created Unallocated space of the size I want to add to
c:.
I can't remember how to add the Unallocated space to c:
Can someone tell me how to do it?
Thanks in advance.

I've got a newish (still Tiger) MacBook Pro and an antiquated old
Frankenstein of a PC that I put together in high school with spare
parts. I have gigs upon gigs of data (music, mostly) on my PC that I'd
like to keep, but I want to get rid of the damn thing. I don't
suddenly hate PCs now that I have a Mac; the thing's just *ancient*.
The hard drive on the Mac isn't nearly large enough to hold all of the
data I have, so I'd like to buy an external hard drive to keep
archives and all my music on. I would *love* if it could work like a
flash drive, but I know that's a different kind of memory, and Macs
and PCs have different file formatting.
How can I put all my PC data onto an external hard drive that would
from then on be exclusively used with a Mac? (Also, any suggestions on
external hard drives? Never had one.)
Thanks!

Hello People,
Top of the day to you.
Every time I click on "new" to begin a new email, I get this funny
looking musical symbol in front of the cursor.
when I press enter to go to another line, it remains in front of the
cursor. It does it all the way down the page. I can delete all of them
but the first one. It won't delete.
I must have hit something that turned it on, but for the life of me I
don't know what it was, but it is very annoying.
When I look at the email when it comes back to me, the special
character is not there at all. It is only on my composition screen.
Does anyone know what this thingie is?
I found a website just now that tells me what it is, and how it looks:
Alt 0182 ¶ Paragraph (pilcrow)
In case this little character doesn't show up on your screen here is
the site where I found it:
http://www.forlang.wsu.edu/help/keyboards.asp
I still can't figure out how to turn it off.
