Hi,
I'm running Photoshop CS3 Extended (a legal paid for version!) and was
considering buying the FocalPoint plugin from OnOne software. I note that
the software requires an Open GL graphics card (1.5 or...

What is the best way to clean the glass on a Canon Lide 80 scanner.
Microfiber cloth + water, microfiber cloth + commercial product, or some
other way?

Good day fellow Earth mates,
Earlier today I noticed that my HDD light was slowly flashing away. When
this process did not stop after approximately 5 minutes, I began to
wonder what it could be. So, using Vista's wonderful "Resource Monitor,"
I took a look at what was writing to my disk. Lowenbehold, there sat
explorer.exe writing to the file
"C:\Users\[uname]\Local\Microsoft\WindowsUsrclass.dat", and rundll32.exe
writing to the same file. I was just wondering exactly what this file
was good for, and why both my explorer and rundll32 would want to access
it at the same time.
Running Vista Home Premium, HP Pavilion DV6550T Notebook, 2 GB RAM, 2
Gig processor.
Thanks,
U@D.TLD

Vista will only do you in if you try to run old programs on it. Even XP
can be a problem for old programs. A friend has an XP Pro machine and
wants to run some old programs written by one of his employees...

My pc crashed last week (see earlier thread 'boot problem') but stayed alive
in safe mode long enough to re-install xp. Now I can't get any sound
although everything else seems ok. I've tried loading the drivers from the
m/board disc (asus p5kpl-vm) but the audio drivers will not install yet
system devices say everythings fine driver-wise. It also omits to list an
audio device despite the asus card having an integrated sound card. Is it a
m/board problem perchance?
