  OE6 Mail Rules

Author: Claude Balls
Date: Dec 30, 2007 13:28

My first rule is -- move email with a certain "to" address to "Incoming
1" folder. I have the "stop processing rules" checked. Still email to
that address sits in the standard inbox and is not moved. Anyone have
this trouble before and know what's going on?

(This just started happening today.... prior to today, no problems. And
no changes made today.)

  Can't Receive Email

Author: Claude Balls
Date: Dec 22, 2007 00:33

I can send but not receive email, and I swear I didn't touch anything!
:O)

I'm getting this error....

"The server responded with an error. Account: 'CB', Server:
'incoming.verizon.net', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR AVG POP3
Proxy Server: Cannot connect to the mail server!', Port: 110,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC90"

I do know that my website host is screwing up my settings. Is it
possible to keep the website at that host but have email sent directly
to my ISP account (that is, bypassing the web host)?

Thanks guys!

Claude

Put the cursor at the end of an address and backspace to remove it like I
just did.

If I get what you mean, click Reply or Forward. Highlight and delete all the
original message info & addresses. Put your address in the To field and all
the people you want to send to in the BCC field.

How can a sender remove email addresses from replies & forwards and have
them substitute by the names? That is, maintain privacy of those people.

Is possible using Outlook Express 6 which I use?

If not, can someone pls recommend a way to do this?

Thanks!
