Today was trip#3 to the license bureau with Son#2. I accept the blame for the first attempt as I am aware that the members of my family are totally and completely dependent on me, and I should have collected the ID for him. Not that the ID I would have had would have been good enough, as trip#2 illustrated. [Side note: Andrew, I tried to reply to your two cents on that, but I kept getting

Well, I guess I am not completely alone. I have tried to disable the hardware assisted virtualization since this is one of the nice new features I like. KB941125 did help some. It eliminated the complete freezing of the web console, but not the guests still get hung up and are unresonsive to any commands. The resource allocation does not seem to be any help. All of mine have been at

We too are having the same problems, and very nearly considered going the KB941125 route but as soon as we saw this recent post, we decided to abort our plans until the problem and solution is clearer. We have two VS 2005 R2 Ent. 64bit SP1 hosts running W2K3 R2 Ent. 64Bit SP2. They are in essense identical. 6Gb RAM each, Intel Quad Core procs, RAID 10, same controllers same configuration

This is a continuation of the 11/08/2007 posting "Virtual Machine wont reset and other problems" The problem with our vitual guest servers freezing continues even after installing KB941125. It looked good for a while, but then the familiar freezing of some virtual guests, W2k and W2k3, happened again. The guests are completely unresponsive and cannot be shutdown or restarted from the

I have a curve defined in terms of a series of cubic Bezier segments meeting with G1 continuity which are generated by a least squares curve fitting of digitized points (Mr. Schneider's algorithm from Graphics Gems). I would like to convert this series of curve segments into a single clamped non-uniform cubic b-spline. To get a b-spline that meets with C0 = G0, I know that I can use the following

A new Computer Graphics Research Group event has been scheduled: Approximate continuity for parametric Bezier patches I will talk about a piecewise cubic, parametric surface scheme to interpolate positions and normals on a triangulated data set. For each data triangle, we fit three triangular cubic patches in a Clough-Tocher like arrangement. However, while we construct the micro-patches to
