ya Jim, transfer rates are vary, vary slow. Im useing a StreetPilot III aswell. Picked it up at a pawn shop. Came with CNav 2008 aswell. Im running a Dell XPS 410 and Kentucky took me a 2hrs if I remember correctly. Oh Im also connecting it through Gamin USB 232 converter.
