I was following a car yesterday that had an Arkansas License Plate numbered "51BW." Next to the numbers was the image of an Ivory-billed Woodpecker. They sure are marketing heavily a bird of which no one can seem to get a clear photo: vanity plates even. I haven't seen any news lately on the bird. Other than the lack of any verifiable sightings, has there been any word from the Cornell people
