I dont have a battery or charger but have some info that may be helpful if you find the camera has issues. Canon has issued a service advisory for several of their powershot line cameras. It seems that the wiring to the CCD are failing prematurely. If your camera is taking funky shots like colors are bleached, smeared, lines across the image, there is a good chance its a faulty CCD.
