... i need to somehow get it out of my mind by remembering why we dont do this. There are cases for which radix sort is O(n) from CLRS....so all this talk of linear selection, why dont we just radix sort ( or even bucket sort) the arrays and just take the i`th entry....i dont know what kind of constants are involved and what not, but its seems like there wouldnt be much of a ...
