Sorry but I'm sure that's correct. Part of the reason is that Winnipeg Real estate is going up is the shortage of land. The city, for whatever reason, has been very lax over the past 5 or so years to zone new land so now there's a shortage of zoned/serviced properties. I admit, I don't understand how there can be a shortage in a city that isn't growing much, but just look at the number

BEWARE OF HOME WIRING BY UNQUALIFIED PERSONS! Recently I was looking, with my daughter, to buy a home for her in the West Kildonan area, (WINNIPEG) and noticed most of those homes I saw had either knob and tube wiring (ended aprox. 1945) or some had dried out BRITTLE rubber insulation cables, which was also installed during the 50's. Two had a lot of spaghetti looking jumbled up cables connected

I am with you Don - sell it high!! Test the waters. We sold our North end house for the largest ever price of a side by side in that neighborhood.....but we were smart - we bought b4 we sold - we bought early Feb late Jan and it was bloody cold (sold our wpg house in march) - we bought from a com free guy - and we paid 5K below his asking.....with 2 appliances included that he hadn't originally
