Good luck on the free wine. Most of the wineries charge now. If you want winedy roads you can take 101 north and get off on the Stinson beach exit. You can take 1 to Fort Bragg then take 120 (I think) to 101 and go north to Eureka. Be advised route 1 can be risky, especially 2 up. An easier route would be up 101 with side trips to the wineries. Get a winery location map. A good place
