My son-in-law has a Winchester Model 21 with SN 17241. He asked me to see if I could find the date of manufacture, and I popped off and said "sure - no problem". Unfortunately, when I went to the "Winchester Dates of Manufacture" site I get a response that "the serial number is not stored in their our data base(high)" Can anyone give me a lead as to where to go from here?
