Hi, I am having trouble even thinking about how to vectorise this routine. Does anyone have any good ideas? Right now this is very slow... I have a known function rho(r), some density profile. I then want to subdivide an known interval in r (say r_beg < r < r_end) with steps which have different lengths according to the local density. Right now my code is: rdivs = zeros(100000

the failure to power up and resulting rapidly flashing keyboard lcd suggest to me a memory error. i suggest that you remove the memory modules and reseat them. modules can become loose over time or your module may be incompatible if you upgraded it with some other memory. if you added a not original dell memory module then keep it out until you have determined that the system is working
