Thanks for the help. I unistalled the NET Framework 1.1 hotfix KB886904. Installed the dotnetfx.exe. Found the Windoews media center rollup 2 KB900325 on my harddrive and ran it seperatley from the downloaded bundle. Then installed the WMP 11. Then installed the XboxMCE05lite.exe. Turned off my my norton anti virus program and everything worked. "AllanF" wrote: Kidott, You

Kidott, You also need Widows Media Player 10 and its updates. Apparently this update is a prerequisite to RollUp 2: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/895572/en-us Install WMP11 after everything is sorted, so that you can share media files with your XBox 360 without using the Media Center Extender software. H Roger, There have been some CDs that won't rip because of the way they're authored. Some are intentional differences in an attempt to "copy protect" the disc, others are just bad pressings from the CD publisher. Example: There are twelve different distributions of Tangerine Dream's Poland live release. One of the releases has problems part way through one track on multiple copies

Bob, Your first sentence leads me to believe that you've got both WMP 10 and WMP 11 co-existing on one computer (a PPC? Power PC? What does PPC stand for?) Regarding "Music" vs "My Music", "Music" is the default music location on Windows Vista, "My Music" is the same on Windows XP. Both of these are completely legal and usable on their respective platforms. The rest of your post

I have Windows Media 11 and Widows media Player 10 on PPC. I have found that 11 synchronises to a folder called 'Music' and Windows Media Player reads the library file from a folder called 'My Music' on the PPC. I seem not to be able to change the default locations to either get 11 to synch to 'My Music' or to get Media Player to read from 'Music'. Tehere is a mismatch here. I would have

Yes, but you'd have paid for "renting" content, since you never truly own it with DRM encumberance (and it interferes with your fair-use rights) I never buy those tracks for that reason, but more importantly because of the generally poor quality of tracks pushed onto hapless consumers. Apple AAC is just as bad as WMA in that regard, only a very few providers give users lossless audio files

MSN music used to provide media content for WMP10 and 11. They stopped operating music downloads a few weeks ago. If you are experiencing problems with MSN music software, you should first contact MSN for detailed advice on removing their software - it looks like it's not obvious how to remove it. This page might help guide you to their support options : http://music.msn.com/help/customer

Premesso: S.O. Xp sp2 aggiornato ad oggi,
