thanks john, i checked the timezones, it is correct & matching with server, one month back i removed it from domain & connected back, that time also it won't worked. i have other 4 vista laptops, they r working fine & i can able to share files & folders. Hi Sagar, Did you check the time on you Vista Laptops. Beacuse if the time is also not synced correctly you wont be able to log on. Also Make sure that the computer are created Correctly on your AD. what you could try is the follwoing log on to your vista machine localy Open Command Propmpt, type Net Time '\\ServerName(Your' (file://\\ServerName(Your) AD) after that check whethter your server

Configuring Avast Home Edition I happened on a cool option called "Silent mode". If I get it right, is is supposed to automatically do the job in case of a certain problem, e.g. virus found without bugging the user. However if you switch the "Solent mode" on then another problem arises, whethter to choose "With general answer YES (OK)" or "With general answer NO (Cancel)". How do I interpret

Thank you for your response. Checking or unchecking themes makes no difference. From my tests it doesn't appear that the theme setting in the rdp file makes a difference as to whethter the desktop background color is available. My guess at this point is that the profile is corrupt. I'll have to create a new one for this user and see if it makes any difference. "Soo Kuan Teo [MSFT
