Jeff, you are spot on with this. Yes, it is work when you are on stage. Yes, everybody has to visit the conveniences. Does it take 45 minutes to do so? NO. I have never understood the 'take a long break' method. I have seen folks who were livin' it up while the band is playing, leave during the long breaks. I have heard them say, "well if the band is not getting started back up, let's go"

On sort of a related topic, it seems to me that some bands take excessively long breaks. Musicians, enlighten me: does it really take as much as 30- 45 minutes to rest and recover from playing a one-hour set, or is it more related to having to fill the time from 9:30 to 1:30? If a band plays 3 one-hour sets, it follows that there would be two breaks of no more than 30 minutes each. I've

Man did you hit the nail on the head girl. There is a club in the Burg called Club Cafe which starts shows on WEEKNITES at 7PM and ends around 9:30. Pretty smart huh ? They get me out and about instead of starting at 10 or later then asking me as I'm leaving at 12 while I'm not staying ? Hey, I WORK. Duhhhhhh...... Stephen M.
