The U.S. Postal System is funny that way. When I saw the Sinatra stamps a couple weeks ago, I quipped to the postal clerk, "Whadaya know, Sinatra's been dead ten years." The exception to the 10 Years Dead rule is US Presidents, which is why they were so quick to knock out Reagan, Ford, Johnson and JFK stamps. I was sitting backstage at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Coliseum some years ago with Bo Diddley and B. B.King listening to Kenny Wayne Shepherd open the show. It just have been around 1994 because the blues stamps had been issued and I brought along a sheet to show to B.B. Bo turned to B.B. and said, "You should be on a stamp, man! You the 'King of the Blues.' They got to put you on a stamp."
