I've been looking into a variety of skate devices over the past week and been very surprised at the variety of new designs of boards etc. I think, where a couple of them are concerned, the juggling community is a good place to request opinions/personal experiences of i.e. the streetboard (aka 'snakeboard') and the newer 'waveboard' (aka 'exboard') Street/snakeboards are in evidence

Hi guys, I recently had a go on a waveboard this weekend and had tremendous amounts of giggles and wipeouts for the few hours I played with it. I've never been very good at skateboarding at all, but waveboarding and carving seemed to work ok for me. I know you guys like that sort of thing so wondered if you could point me in the direction of somewhere that might have a waveboard or similar

Nabend Ng, ich habe ein Office Waveboard von Vivanco. Das hat neben einem Scrollrad an der Seite und einem Drehrad im unteren Bereich noch 29 Sondertasten. Bei WinXP konnte man scrollen, mit dem Drehrad die Lautstärke ändern und die Sondertasten frei belegen. Für Linux gibt es keinen Treiber dafür, jedenfalls nicht vom Hersteller. Die Tasten ansich werden aber erkannt, zumindest kann ich mit
