My Windows 98SE PC threw a fairly significant wobbly the other night for no apparent reason - Although it has worked more or less reliably for the past nine years or so but now seems to have completely forgotten how to connect to the internet... :-/ I think it has lost something to do with Winsock and I am getting an error each time on start up that says 'IPCFGDLL.DLL cannot start, check

Hallo, Christian, Du (christian.schiebener) meintest am 01.08.06: nach einer weile arbeiten am PC bekomme ich unter Windows 98 SE folgenden Bluescreen. Der schwere Ausnahmefahler OE ist an der Adresse 0028:C00037FC in der VXD-Datei Vmm (01) + 000027FC aufgetreten. Danach hängt der Rechner, es geht also auch kein Affengriff. Lass mal mindestens 24 Stunden den Speicher testen
