It's randomly installed with AOL. It should have an entry in the Uninstall Programs control panel. If not, contact Viewpoint and ask them to sort this out for you. Exactly - that cause the entire web page to refresh, along with unloading the player and restarting playback from the beginning of whatever video they were hoping to watch. Bad call from all user experience viewpoints. What is it you're trying to do, Penny ? Most updates can be achieved using limited amounts of javascript. I understand what you're saying about the players being two completely separate projects. However, when I say that Zune has become a "higher priority," I am referring to the fact that since the time WMP11 was released (October 30, 2006) there have been three major releases of the Zune Software. Features such as Podcasting support and now WTV file support are in the Zune Software. Meanwhile, WMP

I've noticed that Viewpoint Media Player is shown in AOL. I have AOL and Viewpoint is shown in my Add/Remove programs. Just an interesting observation, but my web video is very choppy and AOL doesn't seem to have a good answer, so I live with it!
