Why I Will Not Vote for John McCain John certainly performed courageously and well. But it must be remembered that he was one hero among many - not uniquely so as his campaigns would have people believe. He passed away Friday morning..we can't believe how fast it happened. It really hit my husband hard because he was hoping to see him and talk to him before it was to late. He did talk to him on the phone Thursday night but he was in to much pain to really do any talking...he did get to tell him he loved him though.
