UA, how much of the effectiveness of a thoery of "curved space" can be attributed to assuming Pascal's absolute vacuum, "in" space?    1) GPS. thus: isn't the "recoil of atoms," the change of orbitals of electrons? http://arxiv.org/abs/physics/0402011 atoms "recoil" when their orbital electrons emit photons.
