Hello, there is per-application volume control for Windows XP -- IndieVolume. it supports per-application volume, balance, mute, device selection and fx effects. http://www.indievolume.com

Hello, In Vista, I like the per-application volume control feature. Does one exist for Windows XP SP2 with a freeware third party or hack?
