The new Castle of Cagliostro dub was apparently more faithful to the original Japanese dialogue (Thank you, Neil Nadelman!), but the dialogue still seemed unneccessarily "roughed up". The ADR director probably added some "craps", "shits", and "dammits" for no real reason. I don't remember the much-maligned Carl Macek dub having this problem, ...
...Similarly with carrying power - if there is a real power failure abeam the numbers, then it is a "normal" engine failure and do what you can. To practice as a matter of course a zero power approach from there, particularly in slippery stuff, is unneccessarily risky IMO. I've never flown a Mooney, but I haven't done, and really wouldn't like to do, such an approach in a Bonanza.
