This is the actual way that "can you hear me now?" stuff actually works. People I used to work with, now on opposite sides, trying to make the Internet truly wireless. Side note: my brother-in-law lives in rural Virginia and just got a notice from his service provider that he has to upgrade his equipment in order to continue to receive the Internet via satellite.
