Got it.... If anyone ever has this issue... The resolution to the problem is that in the driver under "Configure port", you need to change the "printer name or Ip address" setting to the IP address of the printer. Actually I did discover an error in the event log. The document Test Page owned by seast failed to print on printer SSP - HP Officejet 7310 - Colour. Data type: NT EMF 1.008. Size of the spool file in bytes: 78868. Number of bytes printed: 0. Total number of pages in the document: 1. Number of pages printed: 2. Client machine: \\TRUE4. Win32 error code returned by the print processor:
