I don't know if my experience is what you are referring to, but I find when entering transactions like a credit card payment, I can enter it as a 'transfer' & choose the account it is transferring to, OR I can type in "credit card payment" & then choose the account it is to transfer to. However, the choice "credit card payment" isn't in the main part of the drop down list (under 'expenses'
