When I changed recently to a Core 2 Duo 6600 cpu I found a MB that allowed me to mix old with new technology AsRock http://www.asrock.com/product/775Dual-VSTA.htm has 1 8xAGP slot and 1 PCIX x 16 slot. Can also use IDE HD's or SATA and 2 x DDR or 2 X DDR2 memory. This allowed me to keep AGP card and DDR1 memory at present then I can upgrade a bit further down the line rather than all at

That sounds like a plan. I know it's going to take a while for me to get all the VATSIM garbage, Visual Studio, my wifes crap, and all that stuff to work.
