The other day, the Electricity Company (NPower, or however the fuck they capitalise it) sent me a cardboard box with a new toy in it, and I'm in geek heaven. It's a consumption meter, and tests your level of tuberculosis. Ha ha. No, seriously, it monitors the rate at which you're using, and have used, electricity. There are two components, a gizmo that wraps around the cable at the meter
