Ok, simple answer to a simple (!) question: There are no infinite resources or anything else, because our whole universe is finite, by our definition of our universe, and the word finite. I never said, claimed, or implied the earth is infinite. It can seem either relatively small or large, depending on your relative viewpoint. Finite is measureable, or defined. Infinite is beyond measurement

Sure, I have a second to respond to a Bonzoid request. Well, since most conservation refers to energy conservation, The resources spoken about are energy-related. If you limit the scope of the search to the hypothetical planets you determine yourself, without a sun, and with a composition you define, you're setting unreal limits on a real situation. - flawed, and silly.
