Do you remember what service pack of WSS 2.0 you had on the server? I can't say that this is the problem but it doesn't hurt to apply the Service Pack and bring it to the same level you had it on the old server. You don't have to uninstall companyweb everytime you make a change. Just go over the instructions on my last post and see if it will fix the problem. I will start by applying Service

Hi Costas! Did these step, but after restore I had the same result. There is no problem to get the a new empty site up and running but when I restore I can't access it anymore. Can it be something with the versions? Jimmy, You should be able to delete the site collection if you follow the steps in my initial email. If you get an kind of errors you can post them here and see what we can do to troubleshoot. Since companyweb on the new server is empty, you have the option to remove and reinstall according to the Microsoft's article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/829114 After that follow the steps
