There are several interesting bits in this article including that Ted Kennedy and his wife helped Novak find the right doctor to try to remove the cancer. Also Bush called a few minutes before surgery to offer his "prayerful concern". And finally the Wilsons apparently had nothing good to say, arguing that he should be prevented from driving, he has, and have restricted access to his typewriter
