And nice to formally meet you, too, Suze. BJ "Suze" <mizdm@telus.net> wrote in message news:lOl4j.10664$Ji6.1837@edtnps89... Hi BJ, I know that you have been here many years longer than I. I lurked for a couple of years before posting here and confess to reading some of your conversations. :-) It must have been a neat experience for you to meet so many people that you had

Hi, Suze, I've been around for many, many years, but moved my headquarters next door over there ----------> I still have lots of long-time friends here on AFPF. In fact, I have met lots of them in person here in NC (Richard and Annie) and in Daytona (Norma, Stan, Sue, Mary Lee, Donna, Leighann, Janie, Al, and Fay. There are some of the AFPF-ers that I'm still trying to coax across the

Hi Márcio, Well, from your writing I understand that the teachers judged the same 75 students, so I would say a paired t-test would be appropriate. Each student is judged (scored) by both teachers. There are no two independent data collections on student's scores, but two related ones on the same subjects. That is why a paired test is appropriate. There are more tests on inter-rater judgments

Hi listers, I have one doubt about which test should I apply for my data and according to my objective. I have a dataset of 75 students and I want to verify if two teachers judge in mean the same way the participation of the students in class according to a measure of evaluation. Should I apply here a simple t-test or do I have apply the t-test paired! Student TeacherX TeacherY 1
